What are the Inode usage limits?

An inode is a data structure used to keep information about a file on your hosting account. The number of inodes indicates the number of files and folders you have in your Control Panel. We have a 250,000 inodes limit for shared and reseller customers.

The use of more than 250,000 inodes on your account may result in a warning, and then suspension if no correction is made.

Accounts found to be exceeding the 50,000 inode limit will automatically be removed from our backup system to avoid over-usage.

Shared customers can see the inode count in their Linux Control Panel on the left-hand menu. You must select the HG style.

Reseller customers can call or join live chat to check your accounts' inodes.

Dedicated owners do NOT have an inode limit. Dedicated can check the inode count in root shell (SSH).
